Crumbled Paper

Scrawled across the white page
Blue words of love true.
With each word I try to explore
The depths of my heart.
I scratch those words away
Frustrated by the futile efforts.
No matter how hard I strive
I don't get to compose.
Realisation dawns on me.
What I have for you is love.
It cannot be bunched in words,
Only be felt as a warm cloud.
Written on the prompt "Compose" for Sunday Scribblings.

Love as a "warm cloud" is a beautiful comparison! You did find the words!

This exuberant poem just bursts with feeling.

i often find the words describing love much more realistic than the emotion its self... very thought provoking piece...

Somehow words are just not enough at times. And when you try to describe love, it can sound so stereotypical or even "clunky". I prefer to describe something else which may be a metaphor for love.

I like the way you composed this! Very nice!

I liked the "blue words of true love". I could just see them written on notebook paper and then crumpled into a cloud and discarded and not ever enough for what you are feeling.

Luv Luv Luv
Unbunchable in words
Unseparable as alphabets
Felt as a warm cloud in winter
Felt as a cool breeze in summer
Felt as a dew drop in Rainy !!!

Nice Nice poem !!!

That is a beautiful composition-when words fall short to exress what one feels and yet words are necessary to express the same!
